Peter and the Wolf

I have a book titled, THE TRUE STORY OF THE THREE LITTLE PIGS by A. Wolf, as told to Jon Scieszka. In it Alexander or "Al," the wolf, claims he was framed by the news reporters, who figured a sick guy (Al had a bad cold) going out to borrow a cup of sugar, didn't sound very exciting, so they jazzed up the story with all of that "Huff and puff and blow your house down" stuff. Al claims all he wanted, was to borrow a cup of sugar for the birthday cake he was making for his dear old granny. He couldn't help it that the first two little pigs were dim-wits, and that when he sneezed their houses fell down upon them and killed them. Since they were already dead, and food spoils if you leave it out in the open, he ate them. But when he knocked on the third little pig's door and told him what he wanted, that pig insulted his grandmother. This made Al angry, but just as he was huffing. puffing and making a real scene, while trying to break down the pig's door, the police drove up. "The rest, as they say, is history."
